We are hiring a Charity & Communications Coordinator (Volunteer Position)
We are seeking a part-time Charity & Communications Coordinator to strengthen our relationships with local non-profits and elevate their stories across our digital platforms. In this rewarding volunteer role, you will act as the hands-on link between Charitable Choice and our 70+ charity partners. You will visit local charities, document their impact, conduct due diligence, and keep our community updated through social media and newsletters.
Key Responsibilities
1. Field Visits & Content Creation
- Visit charity partners across Hong Kong to see their work first-hand.
- Post real-time updates about their current services, urgent needs, and impact.
- Maintain social media pages for Charitable Choice with engaging daily or weekly content.
- Prepare a quarterly e-newsletter showcasing your charity visits to donors and partners.
2. Operations & Website Maintenance
- Collate annual due diligence questionnaires from charity partners to ensure compliance.
- Update website content promptly with the latest charity partner information and campaigns.
- Maintain the charity contact list to ensure all partner database records stay accurate.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Passion for Impact: Deep interest in the Hong Kong NGO sector and community welfare.
- Communication Skills: Strong storytelling ability with experience managing social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Organization: Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling basic data administrative tasks (spreadsheets, questionnaires).
- Time Commitment: Ability to dedicate a few hours a week, including field visits.
